Christmas Shopping Party at Alfies Antique Market

Two weeks from today Alfies will be opening its doors until 9pm for its annual Late Night Shopping Event. The after-hours shopping party has become legendary for its entertainment, cocktails and canapés and is a fantastic way to shop for rare and beautiful Christmas gifts.

This year you can enjoy vintage inspired music from The Haywood Sisters and complimentary canapés and drinks from the Roof Top Kitchen while you browse. You will also be able to suss out what lies ahead in 2016 with forecasts from our in-house tarot card reader and, this year, for those who arrive between 5pm and 6pm there will be a special raffle draw with a range of gift vouchers available to win, from £20-£100.

Music: Sets at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm

Tarot Card Reading: Based in unit S002-04. Use the sign up sheet on the door to select a time slot

Raffle: Arrive between 5pm and 6pm and the doorman will give you a raffle ticket for our 7.30pm prize draw. Winners will be announced at the end of The Haywood Sisters' 7pm set, in the jewellery corner on the ground floor.

Bar: Drinks stations will be located on the first and second floors.

Alfies Christmas Shopping Party

On Thursday 12th December Alfies Antique Market will once again opening its door for exclusive after-hours Christmas Shopping. Escape the high street and join over 75 independent antique, vintage and 20th century dealers for a festive night of Christmas Shopping.

Join us from 5pm-9pm on the 12th December for complimentary drinks and treats from the Rooftop Kitchen, musical delights from the Haywood Sisters and four floors full of original gifts. Take part in a snow globe making workshop in the Handmade by You studio or see what's in store for 2014 with our tarot reader.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It's almost December, the Christmas lights have been switched on and it's time to start thinking about what's on your Christmas shopping lists this year.

Last week the Telegraph came to visit Alfies to find out why antiques and vintage make the perfect gifts.  With vintage luggage, silk dressing gowns, danish table lamps and silver napkin rings they found a wonderful array of items to suit all tastes and budgets.

Alfies will be opened until 4pm on Christmas Eve so plenty of time to get your last minute gifts, and will reopen again on Tuesday 4th January.

Please allow us to invite you to our annual late night shopping evening here at Alfies Antique Market. As you might have heard, or experienced for yourself, it is always a very popular event which will turn pretty much anyone into a vintage and antiques enthusiast, as well as wake the festive spirit in you!

It is a perfect opportunity to do some gift shopping for your dear ones, find items to add to your own wish list, or simply shortlist items to sleep over and come back another time to take a second look at.

We will do our best to keep your stomach happy by offering a delightful choice of snacks as well as beverages kindly provided by our wonderful Rooftop Restaurant.

The Alfies team is very excited to announce that we have booked the following musicians for your musical entertainment: 'The Smoking Calaveras', who will provide some burning tunes inspired by the music of the 50's, and 'Nick the Squeeze', who will play some classics on his accordion.

And as every year, we have no doubt that our vintage and antiques dealers will have a treat or two planned, too...
