Royal Wedding

We always get very excited when coming across quirky stories about interesting characters, even more so with these characters being connected to Alfies. So it comes as no surprise that we were suitably excited when news of the following publication reached our inboxes: Our lovely vintage hairdresser Nina was to be featured in the Telegraph! Not only has she mastered the art of re-creating the most impressive vintage hair styles, she is also a dedicated collector of royal memorabilia.

Nina in the Telegraph

Her collection is really very impressive and some of it is on show in her beautiful salon here at Alfies Antique Market. If that's not a good enough excuse to come get your hair done by Nina or one of her qualified staff, then you could always do it as a hommage to the 1947 wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten.

And if you were planning to hold your own Royal Wedding themed party then do come down to Alfies to find some original souvenirs to add real talking points to your decoration. Or plan a chilled post wedding afternoon basking in the sun and enjoying some quality homemade grub on Alfies' Rooftop terrace.

Have a good Easter everyone and see you soon at Alfies!
